They will all come with a Samsung 2443-400Mhz CPU, a 20-channel SiRFstarIII GPS chipset, and TeleAtlas maps so you know these devices are high quality. They also all have extra features such as over 6 million preprogrammed points of interest and text-to-speech capabilities. Don’t be confused by their cheap prices. Mio is not some cheap quality company. Their Digiwalker C230 is an improved version of their previously released C220 and their C 520 and C 720 both take the C230 as a base and add on extra features.

While the Mio C230 is 0.14” wider than the other two models it weighs over 1.5 ounces less. The 520 and 720 have a 4.3” widescreen and a 2 gigabyte storage capacity while the 230’s screen is a 3.5” full screen and its storage capacity is only 1 gigabyte. Mio’s Digiwalker C520 and 720 have Bluetooth technology to let you use your phone hands-free with the device. Also on both the C520 and C720 is their multimedia player which plays both music and video. The 720 is the only one to have a TMC receiver that will pick up traffic data and use it to direct you around traffic. The C720 is also the only device from Mio (and the rest of the GPS industry so far) to have a 2.0 megapixel camera.

So basically if you are looking for your basic device the C230 is a great model with huge improvements over their old C220. If you wanted a widescreen and the ability to make hands-free calls upgrading to the Mio Digiwalker C720 would be smart and if you want all those extra bells and whistles the C720 is an excellent choice.
